Donde el cielo relampaguea
This is a series of photographs taken by three people at different times, and it is the montage that brings them together. The work configures the notion of landscape from fragments of the same place. A petroleum camp built at the beginning of the 20th century in Norte de Santander: COLPET. With its extraction dynamics, it generated problems in different social, political, territorial, and environmental spheres, increasing violence and the displacement of a Bari indigenous community. Nowadays, it continues to emerge on the surface of the Catatumbo landscape.
Esta es una serie de fotografías que fueron tomadas por tres personas en diferentes tiempos y es el montaje lo que las reúne. El trabajo configura la noción de paisaje a partir de fragmentos de un mismo lugar.
Un campamento petrolero que se construyó a principio de siglo XX en Norte de Santander: la COLPET. Con sus dinámicas de extracción generó problemas en diferentes esferas sociales, políticas, de territorio y medioambientales, aumentando la violencia y el desplazamiento de una comunidad indígenas Bari. Hoy día, sigue emergiendo en la superficie del paisaje del Catatumbo.
